Milieu: The physical or social setting in which something occurs or develops.
Even before I developed a passion for image making, I loved seeing how people live in an attempt to understand their personal interests, values and goals. This project combines these two life pursuits through the medium of portrait photographs. These humanistic portraits visually explore a person’s identity, what they value and their cultural environment.
